Old Town Tour of Cologne: History, Breweries and Cologne Traditions
We visit Cologne’s Old Town, the historic center of Cologne for almost 2,000 years. Here, between the Alter Markt and the fish market, on the squares and in the narrow alleys, life has pulsated for centuries. In the Middle Ages, the markets were held here and the hustle and bustle of the merchants determined the day. And of course everyone went to one of the many breweries to eat, drink and celebrate. We will walk with you through the alleys on the Old Town tour in Cologne, show you the particularly beautiful corners and tell you about the life of the people in the last centuries. And we’ll go to a brewery and show you this very special world of Köbes, Kölsch and Pittermännchen and, of course, drink a Kölsch.
During the guided tour of the old town in Cologne you will see, among other things: Heumarkt, Hänneschen-Theater, Rhine bank, fish market, Salzgasse, Ostermannbrunnen, Tünnes and Schäl, Alter Markt.
Bachelor parties are not served in the breweries. If you are heavily costumed and/or drunk, you will not be able to take part in the tour. Funds already paid will not be refunded in this case.
